SPARTANBURG. S.C. – The doubles pairing of Hailey Troup and Eleni Liakonis were honored when the Southern Conference released its postseason women's tennis awards Wednesday afternoon. 
 
The duo was named to the conferences second team list in doubles, Troup and Liakonis posted a record of 15-3 and finished with a mark of 4-0 in league matches.
 
Samford finished the regular season with a mark of 11-10 overall and 3-4 in Southern Conference play. The Bulldog are the No. 5 seed in this week's SoCon Tournament, and Samford will take on No.4 Wofford in the first round of the event Thursday at 7:30 a.m. CT.
