CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. – The Samford women's tennis team fell to Wofford, 4-0, in the quarterfinals of the Southern Conference Tournament Thursday afternoon.
With the loss, Samford ended its season with a record of 11-11. Wofford improved to 11-7 and the Terriers advanced to Friday's semifinal round.
Wofford won at No. 1 and No. 1 doubles to take the early 1-0 lead. The Terriers then took the singles matches at No. 1, No. 2 and No. 6 to wrap up the 4-0 win.
