BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - Samford men's tennis are ranked No. 72 nationally in the final ITA rankings released this month.
This is the first time since 2013 that the Bulldogs have finished a season ranked nationally. They were consistently ranked throughout the season with their highest ranking being No.66 the week of March 17th.
ITA also ranked the Bulldogs at No.6 in their region, sitting atop of Troy, JSU, North Alabama and ULM.
The Bulldogs wrapped up their back to back SoCon championship season with a trip to the NCAA tournament. In the tournament the Bulldogs fell to Wisconsin, ending the season with an overall record of 17-7 and a winning percentage of .708.
