Biography

Junior (2011-12): Finished the season ranked 19th in the Southern Conference with a stroke average of 74.14 . . . played a key role in the Bulldogs’ starting lineup by competing in 29 rounds and 10 tournaments over the course of the season . . . turned in his best finish of the year at the 2011 Spring Hill Suites Intercollegiate where he posted a 2-under-par 214 (70-69-75) to finish tied for eighth place . . . his best performance of the spring season occurred at the 2012 Furman Intercollegiate where he notched a 16th-place finish with a three-round score of 2-under-par 214 (71-72-71) . . . registered his best round of the season at the F&M Bank APSU Intercollegiate by firing a stellar 4-under-par 68 in the second round of the competition . . . earned his third varsity letter.
 
Sophomore (2010-11): Proved to be a key contributor for the Bulldogs as he competed in 31 rounds and 11 tournaments . . . finished the season ranked third on the team and 30th in the SoCon with a 74.9 stroke average . . . tallied a trio of top-20 finishes, including a season-best, fifth-place performance at the 2011 Wofford Invitational where he finished fifth out of 79 competitors . . . at the talent-laden Wofford Invitational, he carded a 2-under-par 214 (71-70-73) at the Country Club of Spartanburg . . . played a key role in the Bulldogs’ fourth-place finish at the 2011 SoCon Championships as he placed 15th in the competition with a 54-hole score of 3-over-par 219 (72-76-71) . . . turned in his best round of the season at the 2011 Austin Peay Invitational as he registered a second-round mark of 69 . . . earned his second varsity letter.
 
Freshman (2009-10): Competed in 19 rounds for Samford as a true freshman and finished the season with a 75.1 stroke average . . . concluded the year ranked No. 35 in the final SoCon standings . . . played in seven tournaments for the Bulldogs and turned in his best performance of the season at the SoCon Championship where he carded a three-round score of 222 (75-73-74) . . . earned a 26th-place finish at the SoCon Championship in the three-day event held at the Moss Creek Golf Course . . . registered his best round of the 2009-10 campaign at the Hummingbird Intercollegiate as he fired an opening-round score of 68 at the talent-laden competition . . . earned his first varsity letter.
 
High School:  Graduate of Decatur High School where he was a four-year letterwinner . . . extremely talented golfer who is expected to break into Samford’s starting five as a true freshman . . . will be looked upon to add leadership to the Bulldogs’ young roster . . . earned a trip to the Alabama state championship as a true freshman in high school . . . led DHS to the championship title of the 2007 Morgan County Tournament by carding a tournament-low score of 76.
