Sophomore (2012-13): Became the first Samford player in Southern Conference history to be named to the All-SoCon Team . . . received All-SoCon Second-Team honors from the members of the league’s media . . . became Samford’s all-time, single-season leader in assists on Feb. 28, as he tallied a pair of assists at Appalachian State . . . set the school record with 151 assists and surpassed former Bulldog-great Ervin Terry, who accumulated 140 in the 1977-78 season . . . finished the campaign ranked 12th in the SoCon in scoring at 14.1 points per game . . . ranked second in the SoCon with 151 assists for an average of 4.7 per game . . . finished the season ranked second in the conference in minutes played per game (37) and sixth in the SoCon in both assist/turnover ratio (1.5) and 3-point field-goal percentage (40.4) . . . ranked eighth in the league in 3-point field goals made per game (1.9) and ninth in free-throw percentage (78.2) . . . led Samford in assists 22 times and scoring 11 times . . . registered four 20-point outings and 28 double-digit scoring performances, including 21-consecutive games to open the season . . . ranked No. 15 in the SoCon in 20-point games (4) . . . finished the year ranked second in the SoCon in 10-assist games (1) . . . scored a game-high 25 points on 9-of-15 shooting from the field against UNCG on Feb. 23 and added a trio of 3-pointers . . . finished the season with 451 points and became the 31st player in Samford history to join the prestigious 400-club . . . became the first player since 1976-77 to reach both the 400-point and 100-assist plateaus in the same season . . . registered the first double-double of his career on Feb. 21, as he tallied 17 points and a personal-best 11 assists versus Elon . . . his total of 11 assists proved to be the fourth-best performance of the season in the SoCon . . . finished the season with an average of 14.1 points, 4.7 assists and 2.3 rebounds per game . . . started all 32 games for the Bulldogs and logged a team-high 1183 minutes . . . only spent a total of 117 minutes on the bench all season long . . . Freshman (2011-12): Named to the SoCon All-Freshman Team by both the league’s head coaches and the media . . . honored by StatSheet on Feb. 27, by being named the SoCon Freshman of the Week after averaging 17 points, four rebounds and three assists in games against Western Carolina and Chattanooga . . . honored by College Sports Madness on Feb. 6, as he was named the SoCon Player of the Week after averaging 13.5 points, four rebounds and 2.5 assists in road league victories against Appalachian State and Wofford . . . earned playing time in all 30 of Samford’s games and started the team’s final 17 contests of the season . . . finished the campaign averaging 9.4 points and 2.9 rebounds per game . . . concluded the year ranked third on the team in scoring and logged an average of 28.2 minutes of game action per outing . . . in the Bulldogs’ last 15 games of the season, he averaged 13 points, 3.8 rebounds and 2.5 assists per contest . . . since moving into the starting lineup against The Citadel on Jan. 7, he averaged 12.5 points, four rebounds and 2.7 assists in 33.4 minutes per outing . . . closed out the season with 11-consecutive double-digit scoring performances . . . proved to be one of Samford’s top 3-point shooting threats and played a key role in the Bulldogs’ No. 24 national ranking in 3-point field goals per game with 8.2 . . . led the team in scoring six times and registered 16 double-digit performances as a true freshman . . . dropped in a career-high 21 points at Chattanooga on Feb. 25, as he finished 10-of-17 from the field . . . also grabbed five boards and knocked down a key 3-point basket . . . scored a then career-high 19 points versus Elon on Jan. 19 . . . in the critical SoCon North victory, he shot 6-of-10 from the field and 4-of-5 from 3-point range . . . led the team in assists six times, including a season-high seven assist performance at Elon on Jan. 19 . . . finished the campaign ranked second on the team in assists (68) and third on the team in assist/turnover ratio (1.2) . . . played a key role in the Bulldogs’ third-place SoCon ranking in both assists and assist/turnover ratio . . . tallied 19 points on 5-of-11 shooting from the floor versus Chattanooga on Jan. 14 . . . also grabbed four rebounds and went a perfect 8-of-8 from the free-throw line . . . earned his first varsity letter.


 
High School: Averaged 16 points, five assists and four rebounds per game as a senior . . . led his high school squad to the semifinal round of the Minnesota state championships in the tournament’s highest classification . . . a two-time all-state performer, he concluded his illustrious prep career as one of the Raiders’ all-time leading scorers in school history . . . finished his time at CDHHS with 1,302 career points and moved into third place on the school’s prestigious all-time scoring list . . . was a three-time recipient of all-conference honors at the Minnesota 4A level and turned in a stellar 44-percent shooting mark from 3-point range.
