Biography
Extremely quick point guard . . . unbelievable defender . . . has the ability to wreak havoc on opposing offenses . . . has very quick hands and anticipates extremely well . . . quick as a cat offensively and does a great job of getting his teammates involved for easy shots.
Freshman (2012-13): Earned significant playing time in all 32 of the team’s games . . . garnered the first start of his collegiate career against eventual Sweet 16-participant Florida Gulf Coast on Nov. 28 . . . averaged 20.9 minutes per game . . . led the Bulldogs in assists six times . . . finished the season with 63 assists, a total which ranked third on the team . . . turned in an average of 2.8 points and 2.4 rebounds per contest . . . finished the season with a solid 46.5 percent shooting mark from the field and played a key role in Samford’s No. 3 Southern Conference ranking in the category . . . concluded the year ranked third on the team with 29 steals . . . turned in one of the best games of his young collegiate career on Dec. 1, as he came off the bench to tally a personal-best nine points on a 3-of-4 shooting performance from the field against Georgia Southern . . . led the Bulldogs with eight points in the first half against Appalachian State on Feb. 28 . . . finished the game with eight points, five rebounds and a steal on 4-of-5 shooting from the field . . . came off the bench to tally eight points, five assists, two rebounds and a pair of steals versus The Citadel on Feb. 9 . . . painted the stat sheet against Western Carolina on Jan. 17, as he accumulated eight points, five rebounds and three steals in a key 64-60 SoCon victory . . . finished 2-for-3 from the field and a perfect 3-for-3 from the free-throw line on Feb. 16, as he scored seven points in a key road victory at Furman . . . also handed out two assists in 19 minutes of play versus the Paladins . . . earned his first varsity letter.

High School: Piloted Lake Wales High School to the Florida 5A state championship . . . earned Florida’s 5A Player of the Year honors . . . averaged 13 points, six rebounds, seven assists and 3.5 steals per game in leading LWHS to a 30-4 overall record and a No. 2 ranking in Florida . . . his prep squad was also ranked No. 30 in the nation . . . boasts the moniker “The Sheriff” because he locks down his opponent as a defender . . . throughout Lake Wales’ most recent championship run, he scored 17 points in the first two games of the state championship tournament . . . his defense on the guards of American Heritage and Terry Parker led to numerous turnovers that allowed his squad to get into its transition game.
