2015 (Redshirt Sophomore):  All-SoCon Second Team selection…Played in 26 matches with 26 starts and 94 sets played for the Bulldogs…ranked third on the team with 210 kills for a 2.23 k/s average and a hitting percentage of .303 on the season…ranked first on the squad with 72 total blocks, 26 solo and 26 assisted for an average of 0.77 b/s…also tallied 16 service aces and 12 assists with 82 total digs (0.87 d/s).  

2014 (Redshirt Freshman): Played in 33 matches with 30 starts…tallied 217 kills (1.78 k/s) for a .248 attack percentage…recorded 12 service aces (0.10 sa/s)…notched 48 digs and 75 total blocks, 18 solo and  57 assisted, (0.61 b/s)…set career-highs in kills (16 vs. Mercer, Nov. 1); attack percentage (.476 vs. Chattanooga, Nov. 22); service aces (5 vs. Alabama, Dec. 4) and blocks (6 at Wofford, Oct. 11 & vs. Eastern Michigan, Sept. 6).

2013 (Freshman): Reshirted

High School: Attended George Washington Carver High School and was a four-year letter winner … helped the team to four Area 6-6A Championships and two AHSAA Elite 8 State Tournament quarterfinals … named to AHSAA Elite 8 All-Tournament Team her senior season … won back-to-back All-Metro honors in 2010 and 2011 … named AVCA All-State in 2011 … participated in the North-South All-Star Games in 2012.

Club: Played with Capital City Junior VBC, winning a SRVA Club Junior Regional Title in 2010 … also played with the Tigers Volleyball Club, helping lead them to a 2012 Muscle Shoals Attack VBC Tournament Championship and a runner-up spot at the SRVA Club Junior Regionals.

Personal: Born July 22, 1995 … daughter of Quesha Russell … has three brothers, Dandre Russell, Willie Smith and Khamari Smith, and one sister, Tashara Russell… majoring in exercise science.
