Previous College: Spent the last two seasons at Texas Tech . . . redshirted in 2011, and contributed as a backup in 2012 for the Red Raiders.

High School: Prepped at University High School in Florida . . . was rated as a three-star prospect by Rivals . . . notched 61 tackles, three sacks and two interceptions his senior year . . . helped lead his team to a state runner-up finish as a senior . . . was named All-State as a senior . . . was named the team’s defensive MVP twice during his four-year career . . . played for Coach Rodger Harriot in high school.

Personal: Born January 15, 1993 . . . son of Kevin Cooper and Tracy Grace.
