High School: Played both wide receiver and safety and started 30-straight games at Leeds High School . . . as a senior, tallied 71 tackles and seven interceptions, three of which he returned for touchdowns . . . also had 16 pass break-ups as a senior . . . offensively, had 36 receptions for 714 yards and 10 touchdowns, and he averaged over 20 yards per kickoff return . . . was named first team All-State and All-Metro, and he was selected as a team captain.
