High School: Competing in Tennessee’s toughest conference in Division II-AA, was a four-year starter, playing on both the offensive and defensive lines . . . following his senior season, was named All-Sumner County and All-Region as an offensive lineman . . . was also a first-team selection to the TWSA All-State team as a defensive lineman . . . was selected to play in the Tennessee Toyota East/West All-Star Game, starting at left tackle for the East squad.
