High School: Four-year varsity letterman at Pope High School in Georgia . . . was a two-time All-Region selection . . . named Offensive Player of the Week for his performance against Wheeler on Oct. 17, 2014 . . . won the Ken Youmans Class Act Award . . . as a senior, helped lead an offense that averaged 27.4 points per game and rushed for over 1,800 yards . . . was a three-time Scholar Athlete . . . also competed in basketball and track and field for two years each.
