On behalf of Samford University, our student-athletes, coaches, and staff, I want to thank you for your interest in attending the fourth-annual Bulldog Bash dinner and silent auction, presented by BB&T, on April 25, 2013. This event benefits our student-athletes across all 17 of our Varsity sports and gives them the chance to strive for excellence in the classroom, compete at the highest levels in their sport, and to fulfill their potential as emerging leaders for the next generation.
Following a silent auction at 6 p.m. and dinner at 7 p.m., we will hear from Heisman Trophy winner and former National Football League and Major League Baseball star Bo Jackson. Bo was recently voted as the Greatest Athlete of All Time by ESPN’s Sport Science and has been busy supporting our state with his “Bo Bikes Bama” initiative to raise funds for the Governor’s Emergency Relief Fund.
