Tell us about your professional work and what you enjoy most about your job.
I enjoy working with students and watching them make a difference in our community.
What are some of your hobbies?
Cooking, listening to music and dancing.
What special talents and gifts do you have?
I have a special talent of “imagining” that I can sing! LOL!
What is an interesting fact about you?
I'm originally from a small rural town in Southern California.
What makes Samford so special for you?
Samford is special because of the relationships I have built that are rooted in faith and professional excellence.
What inspired you to first get involved in supporting the student-athlete experience at Samford?
When my son Eric (aka "Scottie") joined the basketball team, I got involved with supporting the program. I saw firsthand the needs of the students and learned through the program how best to support the student-athlete's experience. I NEVER would have known the depths of the students' commitment to being a scholar-athlete had I not been involved with the Bulldog Club.
What makes you proud to be a Samford Bulldog Club member?
The achievements of alumni athletes, the outstanding graduation rate and the fruitful experience that the student athletes have during matriculation, combine to make me proud that my membership, in some way, contributes to that wonderful picture of success.
