Established in 2018, the Bowden Society exists to provide philanthropic leadership in support of Samford Athletics while celebrating its most philanthropic donors.
Named in honor of legendary Samford football player and head Coach Bobby Bowden, the Bowden Society recognizes those who make a gift or commitment of $25,000 or more to Samford Athletics. While the program is philanthropic in nature, Bowden Society members will receive distinctive recognition and enjoy unique stewardship opportunities based on giving levels.
The athletic department will continue to establish its top priorities, but donors will have the opportunity to invest in the fund(s) of their choice including capital funds, the Bulldog Club, sport gift accounts, Samford Classic Golf Tournament, Samford Athletics Hall of Fame Celebration, various scholarships and endowments.
