High School: Led his team to a 14-0 record and a Class 2B state championship as a senior at Trinity Catholic High School . . . named Most Valuable Player in the championship game after rushing for 188 yards and five touchdowns . . . named first-team All-State, Team Captain and Offensive Player of the Year as a senior, playing both running back and quarterback . . . rushed 157 times for 1,287 yards and 28 touchdowns . . . had 15 receptions for 248 yards and two touchdowns . . . completed 62 percent of his passes for 648 yards and three scores . . . also named first-team All-State as a sophomore in 2008 . . . led his team to an appearance in the state title game in 2008.
