Senior (2022): Appeared in all 13 games, starting 12 for the Southern Conference Champions… Recorded 25 tackles and 16 solo stops… Tallied five tackles for loss… Led the Bulldog defense with four sacks… Finished the season with five QB hurries, two pass breakups and a blocked kick at Furman (10/01)… Nabbed a season-high three tackles five times in 2022… Collected a season-high two sacks at The Citadel (10/29).

2021 (Fall): Saw acton in 11 games, including four starts on the defensive line . . . finished the season with 35 total tackles, including 15 solo stops . . . tallied 4.5 tackles for loss and 3.0 sacks . . . had four tackles each against UT Martin, Chattanooga and Furman . . . contributed a career-high nine tackles against The Citadel. 

2021 (Spring): Saw action in all seven games, including one start on the defensive line . . . tallied 14 tackles, including three solo stops . . . also had one fumble recovery . . . had three tackles each against Wofford and VMI . . . had a season-high four tackles and one fumble recovery at The Citadel. 

2019 (Freshman): Saw action in all 12 games . . . finished the season with 23 tackles, including 13 solo stops . . . had 3.5 tackles for loss and 1.0 sack . . . also had one quarterback hurry . . . had a season-high six tackles, including 1.5 tackles for loss against Furman . . . had three tackles each against Tennessee Tech, The Citadel and VMI. 

2018: Saw no game action.

High School: Mera was named the 4A Defensive Player of the Year at Bishop Verot in Fort Myers, Fla . . . he was also named All-Area honorable mention and he was selected a Rotary South All-Star . . . as a senior, he tallied 45 tackles, 10.5 tackles for loss, five sacks and four forced fumbles . . . for his career, Mera had 141 tackles, 17.6 tackles for loss, five forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries . . . he served as a team captain and was a four-year letterman . . . he also competed on the weight lifting, basketball and track and field teams.
