2012: Served as a backup punter . . . saw action in two games, versus The Citadel and at Kentucky . . . handled one kickoff for 62 yards against The Citadel, and punted once for 35 yards at Kentucky.

2011: Saw action in three games . . . served as a backup punter . . . punted four times for an average of 41.5 yards per kick . . . averaged 46.0 yards on two punts at The Citadel.

Previous College: Attended the University of Alabama in 2010–11.

High School: Prepped at Vestavia Hills High School . . . named to the Over the Mountain Team’s first team as a punter as a senior in 2010 . . . won the Pat Patrick Award, also in 2010 . . . named to the National Honor Society.

Personal: Born Nov. 8, 1991 . . . son of Richard and Lynn O’Neal . . . majoring in philosophy.
