2017 (Sophomore): Started all 61 games, splitting time between third base, short stop and right field ... named first team All-SoCon as a utility player ... ranked third on the team with a .308 batting average ... tied for second on the squad with 57 hits ... also had five doubles, three home runs and 16 RBI ...  collected eight hits in a season-opening tournament at Louisiana Tech ... went 2-for-4 with a double and two RBI against Iowa State ... had five hits in three games in a tournament at UT Martin ... went 3-for-4 with two doubles in game three at Chattanooga ... went 4-for-5 with three RBI in the final two games of ETSU series ... went 2-for-3 with two RBI at UAB ... had three hits and an RBI in the SoCon Tournament win over Mercer ... named to the All-SoCon Tournament team.



2016 (Freshman): Played in 39 games with eight total starts for the Bulldogs … recorded four hits in 32 at-bats with one double and 14 runs scored … was 2-for-2 on stolen base attempts … recorded 12 putouts and two assists with a 1.000 fielding percentage.



High School: Prepped at Locust Grove High School for coach Chris Davis … first team All-Region in 2013 & 2014 at the shortstop position … earned Player of the Year honors in 2013 and 2014 at Locust Grove.

Personal: Full name is Madison Nicole Couch…born on March 1, 1997…daughter to Troy Couch and Melanie Durham … has one sister, Leah, and two brothers, Christian and Caden … majoring in nutrition and dietetics.
