Junior (2011-12): Named to the prestigious All-Southern Conference Team for his stellar play at the 2012 SoCon Championship . . . earned the championship title of the Alabama State Match Play Tournament . . . entered the prestigious annual tournament as the No. 2-seeded player in the competition and defeated Haymes Snedeker, the older brother of PGA Tour player Brandt Snedeker, by a score of 2 up in the semifinal round . . . defeated Thomas Sutton in the championship final on the first hole of a playoff by knocking down an 80-foot chip for an eagle . . . became the first Bulldog to qualify for the NCAA Championship as an individual competitor after proving to be one of the top golfers in the Southeast . . . finished the season with a team-best 72.28 stoke average, which also proved to be the second best average in the Southern Conference . . . only trailed Chattanooga’s Stephan Jaegar by a miniscule average of .98 strokes per outing . . . competed in the Greensboro Regional of the NCAA Championship and finished the weekend as the fifth-place individual . . . turned in his best round of the three-day competition on day three as he posted a 6-over-par 78 . . . finished the NCAA Championship with a 54-hole tally of 238 (81-79-78) . . . earned a pair of SoCon Player of the Week Awards . . . received the league’s first distinction on March 7 after leading the Bulldogs to a first-place finish at the 2012 Samford Intercollegiate . . . earned Individual Medalist honors at the Samford Intercollegiate by carding a 5-under-par 211 . . . his second-round score of 66 proved to be the best round of the tournament and set the low-round record at Hoover Country Club . . . received the conference’s second distinction as Player of the Week after earning an eighth-place finish at the 24th Annual Coca-Cola Invitational where he carded a team-best 67 in the final round of the 18-team competition . . . earned his third varsity letter.
 
Sophomore (2010-11): Finished tied for first place on the team and 14th in the SoCon with a stroke average of 74.03 . . . competed in all 11 tournaments for the Bulldogs and registered four top-20 finishes . . . turned in his best performance of the season at the prestigious SoCon Championship as he helped guide Samford to a fourth-place finish by carding an even-par 216 (69-71-76) . . . placed 13th at the Western Carolina Invite with a two-round total of 1-over-par 143 . . . earned 19th-place finishes at both the Elon Intercollegiate (69-77-71=217) and the Francis Marion Invite (78-75-73=226) . . . earned his second varsity letter.
 
Freshman (2009-10): Competed in all 25 rounds for Samford as a true freshman and finished the season with a team-best 73.8 stroke average . . . concluded the year ranked No. 14 in the final Southern Conference standings . . . played in all nine tournaments for the Bulldogs and turned in his best performance of the season at the Samford Intercollegiate where he dominated the competition for a 7-stroke victory . . . placed first at the Samford Intercollegiate with a three-round score of 12-under 204 (73-65-66) at the Limestone Springs Golf Course located in Oneonta, Ala. . . . his second-round score of 65 at the Samford Intercollegiate proved to be his best round of the 2009-10 campaign . . . earned his first varsity letter.
 
High School:  Graduate of Oneonta High School in Hoover, Ala., where he was a four-year letterwinner . . . extremely talented golfer who is expected to break into Samford’s starting five as a true freshman . . . will be looked upon to add leadership to the Bulldogs’ young roster . . . earned the championship title of the 2009 SJGT Southern Junior Tournament held in Opelika, Ala. . . . won the 2009 Southern Junior Tournament at the Saugahatchee Country Club as he carded a two-round score of 141 . . . also lettered in football at OHS and was the starting quarterback for the Redskins.
