2013 OUTDOOR SOCON CHAMPION - DECATHLON

2013 (Sophomore): Indoor: Competed in five meets … finished third in the heptathlon at the SoCon Championships with a career-high total of 4,558 points, which ranks eighth all-time at Samford … set a career high in the high jump at the SoCon Championships, jumping 6-1.5 (1.87m) to move to eighth all-time at Samford.  Outdoor: Competed in six meets … won a SoCon Championship in the decathlon with a personal-best 5,891 points that ranks ninth all-time at Samford … added more team points as part of the fourth-place 1,600-meter relay (3:18.49) … ran a season-best 3:17.92 as the anchor of the 1,600-meter relay at the Tiger Track Classic, moving to fourth all-time at Samford.

2012 (Freshman): Indoor: Competed in the heptathlon at the SoCon Championships, where he placed fifth with 4,163 points … named to the SoCon All-Freshman Team.  Outdoor: Competed in four meets … set a personal-best in the decathlon at the Samford Multi, finishing third with 5,557 points … added a team point in the decathlon at the SoCon Championships, placing eighth (5,089).

High School: Team captain of state championship track team ... member of the state champion 4x400 and 4x200 relay teams ... lettered 4 years in football ... United States Marine Corps All-Academic Team ... National Honor Society
