2013 SOCON INDOOR CHAMPION - POLE VAULT 2014 (Redshirt Senior): Indoor: Did not compete…Outdoor: Competed in four meets...posted a season best 4.85m in the pole vault at the Southern Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championships which placed second overall in the event.
2013 (Redshirt Junior): Indoor: Competed in five meets … won a SoCon Championship in the pole vault, clearing 16-0.5 (4.89m) … set a new personal best in the pole vault at the Meyo Invite, jumping 16-2.75 (4.95m), which ranks fourth all-time at Samford.
Outdoor: Competed in eight meets … won a SoCon Championship with a season-best height of 15-9 (4.80m).
2012 (Redshirt Sophomore): Indoor: Competed in six meets … set a new personal best in the pole vault (16-1, 4.90m) … earned team points at the SoCon Championships, placing fourth (15-7, 4.75m).
Outdoor: Set an outdoor personal best in the pole vault with a win at the Tiger Track Classic (16-0.75, 4.90m) … earned team points at the SoCon Championships, placing fourth (15-7, 4.75m).
2011 (Sophomore) Indoor: Competed in three meets, finishing at least fourth in all of them ... started the season with a win at the Blue Raider Invite (15-6, 4.72m) ... set a new PR at the Niswonger Invite, placing fourth (15-9, 4.80m).
Outdoor: Redshirted.
2010 (Freshman): Indoor: Took third place in his collegiate debut at the Niswonger Invitational (Jan. 22-23) with a height of 15-07.00...placed second at the MTSU Invitational (Feb. 5-6), clearing a height of 15-06.00...took sixth place at the Tiger Paw Invitational (Feb. 12-13) with a mark of 15-00.25...placed sixth at the SoCon Indoor Championships (Feb. 26-27) with a height of 14-08.00.
Outdoor: Started the season with a second place finish at the BSC Invitational (March 13) with a height of 14-11.00...posted a outdoor personal best of 15-01.00 and took second place at the Tiger Track Classic (April 2-3)...topped that two weeks later with a new personal best 15-05.00 to take seventh place at the Ole Miss Invitational (April 10)...tied for eighth place and earn All-Freshman honors at the SoCon Outdoor Championships (April 24-25) with a vault of 15-01.00...ended the season with a fourth place finish at the Georgia Tech Invitational (May 14-15).
High School: Two-time Tennessee State Champion in the pole vault and hold a personal best of 15-6 ... won the event at regionals all four years of high school ... placed third at the AAU Nationals ... also played football.
