Samford University Athletics

Dalton Meador joined the Samford Sports Medicine staff in 2025 as an Assistant Athletic Trainer, working with the softball and football programs. He obtained his bachelor’s degree in athletic training from The University of West Alabama in 2024. While in Livingston, he gained clinical experience with the football, men’s and women’s basketball, and softball teams.

He is an active member of ALATA, SEATA, and NATA. Meador is certified in Healthcare Basic Life Support through the American Heart Association, licensed by the Alabama Board of Athletic Trainers, and a certified athletic trainer through the Board of Certification.

Dalton resides in Hoover and enjoys spending his down time traveling with family and friends and cooking.
