Brandon Hazouri

Brandon Hazouri is a recent graduate and former student-athlete at Samford University in the track and field program.

Hazouri comes most recently from coaching with his alma mater, Spain Park High School, from 2015-2017. Since his time at Samford, he also ran professionally for the Atlanta Track Club Olympic Development team.

While at Samford, Hazouri was named an All-American in the 800 meter, a four-time NCAA regional qualifier, seven-time Southern Conference champion, and competed at the United States Track and Field national championships in 2015.

Hazouri holds school records for Samford in the indoor and outdoor 800 meter, the 1500 meter, the mile, and the distance medley relay.

Originally from Birmingham, Hazouri was the 2010 and 2011 6A State Champion at Spain Park High School and the 2010 Alabama Boys Gatorade Cross Country Runner of the Year.

Hazouri gradutated from Spain Park High School in 2013 and graduated with a degree in health sciences from Samford in 2017.
