2014 SoCon INDOOR CHAMPIONSHIP – DISTANCE MEDLEY RELAY TEAM
2014 (Sophomore): Indoor: Competed in four meets…tabbed a personal best 2,621 points in the pentathlon at the Samford Multi & Invitational on February 8…notched a personal best time of 7.75 in the 60 meters at the SoCon Indoor Championships on March 2…recorded a season best in the 200 meters with a time of 25.87 at the Southern Miss Cupid Classic on February 14…Outdoor: Competed in six meets…recorded a personal best in the 100 meters with a time of 12.15 at the Alabama vs. Mississippi Border Clash on April 11…notched another personal best in the 200 meters with a time of 25.17 at the Georgia Invitational on May 10…personal best time of 17.81 in the 100 meter hurdles at the Battle of I-65 on March 15.
2013 (Freshman): Indoor: Competed in four meets … set personal bests in the 60-meter dash (7.84), 200-meter dash (26.31) and long jump (16-5.75, 5.02m). Outdoor: Competed in seven meets … set personal bests in the 100-meter dash (12.33), 200-meter dash (25.25), 400-meter dash (1:00.36) and lon jump (15-10.5, 4.84m).
High School: Attended the King’s Academy … holds school records in the long jump, 100 and 200-meter dash and also as a part of the 4x1, 4x4 and sprint medley relay teams … was a district and regional champion in those events as well … two-year team captain and First Team All-Area selection … was named her high school’s Athlete of the Year … was a scholar-athlete at her high school and also competed in basketball and swimming … competed at the New Balance National Meet as a team captain with her travel track team.
Personal: Born November 20, 1993 … daughter of William and Barbara Ruch … has three brothers: Daniel, Thomas and Billy … majoring in sports medicine.
