Freshman (2014): Competed in three meets…ran a season best in the 5K with a time of 18:12.70 on Oct. 31st, at the Southern Conference Championships to place 22nd overall.
High School: Prepped at Christ Presbyterian for head coach Mark Miller…holds personal records of 2:10.00 in the 800 meters, 17:28.00 in the 5,000 meters, 47.32 in the 300 meter hurdles, 11’6” in the pole vault, 16’ in the long jump, 5’2” in the high jump and a score of 2,970 in the pentathlon…three-straight state championships in the pole vault, 2010 national champion in the pole vault…first place finish on the 4x800 meter relay team…holds a third place finish in the state pentathlon.
Personal: Full name is Megan Linnae Roach…born on June 4, 1996…daughter of Randy and Cheryl Roach…has three brothers, Jonathan, Nathan and Daniel…majoring in Biology.
