Biography
Junior (2011-12): Played a vital role in Samford’s starting lineup and finished the season with a solid 77.95 stroke average, which was ranked 25th in the Southern Conference . . . competed in nine tournaments for the Bulldogs played in a total of 22 rounds . . . earned a pair of second-place finishes throughout the course of the season, including a 5-over-par 221 (73-73-75) at the 2012 Samford Intercollegiate . . . she also turned in a second-place performance at the season-opening Chris Banister Gamecock Classic where she posted a 73 in the rain-shortened competition . . . concluded the year with five top-15 finishes . . . notched a seventh-place performance at the 2011 Memphis Women’s Invitational by carding a three-round total of 227 (77-73-77) . . . fired a season-best, single-round score of 73 three times (Chris Banister Gamecock Classic, Memphis Women’s Invitational and Samford Intercollegiate) . . . earned her third varsity letter.
Sophomore (2010-11): Proved to be a key contributor for the Bulldogs as she competed in 10 tournaments and a total of 28 rounds . . . finished the season ranked fourth on the team and 34th in the SoCon with a 79.9 stroke average . . . completed the year with four top-20 finishes, including a season-best, eighth-place performance at the 2011 Lady Jaguar Invite . . . at the talent-laden Lady Jaguar Invite, she carded a three-round total of 230 (72-81-77) to place eighth out of 61 participants . . . throughout the season, she also finished 13th at the Jacksonville State University Tournament, 14th at the Low Country Intercollegiate and 18th at the Samford Invitational . . . competed for the Bulldogs at the prestigious SoCon Championship and tallied a 54-hole total of 254 (86-82-86) . . . earned her second varsity letter.
Freshman (2009-10): Competed in five tournaments as a true freshman and finished the season ranked No. 51 in the Southern Conference’s final individual standings . . . ended the year with a stroke-per-round average of 83.5 . . . turned in her best performance of the season at the Sea Trail Women’s Intercollegiate Tournament hosted by Western Carolina University where she earned a 33rd-place finish by carding a two-round total of 159 (83-76) . . . competed for the first time as a collegiate athlete at the 2009 Lady Paladin Invitational . . . played as an individual at the 2010 Samford University Women’s Intercollegiate where she finished 38th in the standings with a three-round total of 246 (83-82-81) . . . earned her first varsity letter.
High School: Attended Clarksville High School where she was a three-time Class 3A district individual medalist . . . two-time Class 3A region individual medalist . . . competed in the Class 3A Tennessee state tournament four times and earned top-10 finishes each season . . . named Team Captain in both her junior and senior years . . . named the Leaf Chronicle Girls’ Player of the Year in 2007 . . . finished her prep career ranked 10th academically in a class of 320 . . . graduated with honors from CHS with a grade-point average of 3.96.
