Biography
2011 (Junior): Indoor: Competed in one meet, setting a new PR in the mile run at the Tiger Tune Up (5:23.58).
Outdoor: Competed in five meets ... ran a personal-best in the 1,500 meters at the Seminole Invite, finishing in 4:56.72 ... set a new PR in the 800 meters at the Alabama Relays (2:26.01).
2010 (Sophomore): Indoor: Posted a personal best of 5:41.93 in the mile at the MTSU Invitational (Feb. 5-6)...ran the 1000 meters in 3:16.04 and posted a personal best of 10:57.22 in the 3000 meters at the Tiger Paw Invitational (Feb. 12-13)...ran the 3000 meters in 11:08.4 at the SoCon Indoor Championships (Feb. 26-27).
Outdoor: Competed in four outdoor meets for the Bulldogs...turned in her best performances at the BSC Invitational (March 13) where she took 11th place with a time of 2:30.10 and at the SoCon Outdoor Championships where she placed 20th in the 1500 meters with a time of 5:03.11.
2009 (Freshman): Indoor: Opened the season with a 5:46.06 in the mile at the TSU Invitational (Jan. 31)... ran in the 3000 meters at the Sewanee Invitational (Feb. 8), clocking a time of 12:07.14 before running a personal best of 11:28.08 in the same event at the Tiger Paw Invitational (Feb. 13-14)...
Outdoor: Improved her 1500 meter time by almost 12 seconds, clocking 5:21. 32 at the APSU Governers Invitational (April 4) then cutting it to 5:09.76 at the SoCon Outdoor Championships (April 25-26).
High School: Four year varsity runner for Cinco Ranch High School ... state finisher and participant in the Nike Indoor Nationals.
Personal: Born November 19, 1989...daughter of Howard and Jaqueline Keithan ... brother, Chas, ran cross country and was a member of the track team at Samford ... brother, Colby, runs track at Rice University ... majoring in interior design.
