JeNorri Armstead joined the Samford Athletics Department in early 2017. She was promoted to Senior Associate AD for Internal Affairs in August 2024. She serves on the Executive Leadership Team, oversees the Athletic Business Office, oversees the processing of game, vendor and sponsorship contracts, assists with the CHAMPS Student-Athlete Development Program and serves as the primary contact for Human Resources within the Athletics Department.
A native of Hoover, Alabama, Armstead attended Hoover High School where she was a member of the Track and Field team. She graduated “With Distinction” from the University of Alabama (2001) with a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing and minor in Public Relations. While attending Alabama she was a member of the Athletic Hostess organization, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Athletes in Action and served in the Athletics Sports and Information Department.
Prior to joining the Samford Athletics Department, Armstead served nine years at Hoover High School in the Athletics Department where she maintained compliance and eligibility for students and coaches, assisted the Athletics Director, worked with media outlets for special events such as Signing Day and served as liaison between the booster clubs and athletics department.
She is married to Winslow, and they have three children Canon, Calista and Caeten.
