Elizabeth Scovil joined the staff in July 2025 and is a dually credentialed Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) and Athletic Trainer (LAT, ATC), as well as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) with extensive experience in elite sports and outpatient settings.
Prior to working with the Bulldogs, Scovil worked as both a physical therapist and athletic trainer for the Cleveland Browns from 2024-2025. She received her master's degree in athletic training from the University of Idaho in 2024 after working as a student athletic trainer at UNC Chapel Hill with the football and men’s lacrosse teams from 2022-2023.
She has worked as a physical therapist at ATI Physical Therapy and the Atlanta Rehabilitation and Performance Center, primarily working in a one-on-one setting with high school athletes and recreational runners. She received her DPT from Emory University in 2019 and has advanced skills in Dry Needling, Strength and Conditioning, various manual therapy techniques, and Mulligan Concept.
She is a member of the National Athletic Training Association, American Physical Therapy Association, and National Strength and Conditioning Association. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Washington and Lee University in 2015. She also has volunteered with marathons, 5k races and adaptive sports events such as Wheelchair Basketball and Adaptive Cycling.
