Ryan Greenwood joined Samford softball in the fall of 2025 as the Director of Player Development. Greenwood brings over 20 years of high-level club softball experience, where he most recently served as the National Director for U18 Fusion Softball. He was also an instructor at LSU's head coach Beth Torina Softball Camps. Greenwood has helped send 100+ players to Division I colleges in the SEC, ACC, Big Ten, Big 12, Pac-12, Sunbelt, SoCon, CUSA, and SWAC with some of those players excelling and achieving All-American honors and All-Conference recognition. He also has coaching experience as an assistant coach and head of player development at Assumption HS in Louisville, Kentucky. Greenwood graduated from Jacksonville State in 1993.
