Rylee Jones enters her first year working with Corporate Sponsorship Sales for Samford Athletics in 2023.
Jones comes to Samford from Eventive Sports in Birmingham, an industry-leading company dedicated to sports event management. While there, Jones planned and executed duties related to the Regions Tradition Golf Tournament, the Children’s of Alabama Indy Grand Prix, and MotoAmerica Superbikes at Barber volunteer programs. She additionally established and maintained vendor relationships for meal trades and directed and sponsored trade fulfillment for volunteer program partners.
Before her tenure with Eventime, Jones worked as an event manager at Vulcan Park and Museum in Birmingham where she managed and reserved various events held at Vulcan Park such as weddings, rehearsal dinners, reunions, parties, corporate events, etc.
Jones served as a graduate assistant in the Samford University Office of Student Leadership and Involvement from Feb. 2021 through April 2022. She was also an ambassador for the Samford Communication Studies Department and a founding member of the Samford Equestrian team in 2018.
Jones earned her Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies from Samford in May of 2021. She most recently received her Master of Business Administration from Samford in April of 2023.
