BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - Samford's baseball game scheduled for Wednesday night at cross-town rival Birmingham-Southern has been cancelled due to rain in the area. The Bulldogs and Panthers will make up the game on April 30 at a time still to be determined.

Samford defeated BSC Tuesday night, 3-2 at Joe Lee Griffin Field. Robert Evans, Sae Evans and Eli Iorg each had three hits in the win for the Bulldogs.

Samford (14-9, 5-4 ASUN) will host Atlantic Sun Conference foe Florida Atlantic this weekend in a three-game series at Joe Lee Griffin Field. Friday's game is scheduled for 6 p.m. while Saturday's doubleheader is set to start at 1 p.m.
