BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - Friday night's Ohio Valley Conference volleyball match between Samford and Austin Peay has been moved up to a 5 p.m. first serve.

The match originally scheduled for 7 p.m. was moved up because Samford is also hosting the OVC Soccer Tournament on Friday. The Bulldog soccer team will play at 7 p.m. against Southeast Missouri State. The change in the volleyball time gives Samford fans the opportunity to see both teams in action.

The volleyball team will be trying to end a two-match losing streak against a team that it defeated 3-2 in Clarksville, Tenn., on Oct. 25. Hilary Gary tied the Samford school record posting 30 kills in the first meeting.

Krista Kettering will looking to break Samford's career assist record as she enters the match just five assists shy of the record set by Donna Mock from 1992-95.
