DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - Samford's men's golf team shot a final-round 310, and finished 12th at the Atlantic Sun Championships. Andy McRae fired a 72 Friday, and cracked the top-20 individuals, finishing tied for 19th.
Jacksonville State tied the lowest three-day total in Atlantic Sun Conference history with rounds of 284-285-280 for a total score of 849 to win back-to-back A-Sun Championships on Friday at the par-72, 6,670-yard Indigo Lakes Golf Club.
JSU's Matias Anselmo tied the low-round of the day with a 68 to finish in second place with a 54-hole total of 208, five shots behind medalist Stefan Wistorf of UCF. Wistorf's three-day total of 203 was the lowest three-round total in A-Sun history.
