Tip: 2 p.m. at Seibert Hall on the Campus of Samford University

Samford: Samford (8-8) will have to bounce back after seeing its nine-game home win streak snapped on Thursday. The Bulldogs are tied for third in the OVC and will need a win to keep pace with Morehead State and Tennessee State. Tyson Dorsey had the biggest game of his career on Thursday scoring a career-high 29 points on 8 of 13 shooting from three-point range. He was also 5 for 5 from the free throw line. The 29 points passed his former high of 27 he had against Chattanooga last season. His eight three's were one shy of Jonathan Pixley's school record of nine set in 1995. Samford is 5-1 and is shooting 58 percent from the floor and 48 percent from long range at home this season.

Eastern Kentucky: Eastern Kentucky (7-9) is coming off an 85-82 loss at Jacksonville State. The Colonels are one game behind the Bulldogs on the OVC Standings. Jon Bentley led EKU with 33 points at JSU. He is averaging 13.0 points and 5.6 rebounds while shooting 65 percent from the floor for the season. Matt Witt leads the club averaging 13.4 points while Michael Haney adds 11.4 points and 6.4 rebounds per game. EKU is second in the OVC in team rebounding and is shooting 45 percent from the floor, 34 percent from long range, and 61 percent from the FT line

Inside Stuff: Samford is 3-1 all-time against Eastern Kentucky. The Bulldogs have won the last two meetings including the last one in Birmingham on Dec. 13, 1997. EKU's only win in the series came in Richmond during the 1986 season.
