BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The back-to-back Ohio Valley Conference regular-season champion Samford soccer team will begin play in the 2004 O'Reilly OVC Tournament on Friday at 7 p.m., as the Bulldogs square off against in-state rival Jacksonville State at Bulldog Field.

Third-seeded Murray State and second-seeded Eastern Illinois will kick things off with a 4 p.m. start on Friday. The championship match is scheduled to be played on Sunday at 1 p.m. The winner will automatically qualify for the 64-team field of the 2004 NCAA Tournament.
