BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The Samford University volleyball team (5-17, 3-9 OVC) will travel to play the Austin Peay Lady Govs (12-13, 7-5 OVC) on Friday, Nov. 5, at 7:00 p.m., and the Tennessee Tech Golden Eagles (8-15, 4-8 OVC) on Saturday, Nov. 6, at 12:00 p.m. Friday's match will take place at the Eblen Center in Cookeville, Tenn., while Saturday's match will be played at the Dunn Center in Clarksville, Tenn.

Currently, the Bulldogs are ninth in the OVC volleyball standings with a record of 5-17 overall and 3-9 in conference play. The Bulldogs have lost their last two matches, after defeating Austin Peay, 3-2, earlier this season.

The Lady Govs are fourth in the OVC standings with a record of 12-13 overall and 7-5 in the OVC. Austin Peay has won its last three matches against Lipscomb, Murray State and UT Martin, after losing at Samford.

The Golden Eagles are eighth in the conference, posting a record of 8-15 overall and 4-8 in conference play. Tennessee Tech defeated the Bulldogs, 3-1 earlier this season. The Golden Eagles won their last match against UT Martin, 3-0, after defeating Murray State, 3-2.

Samford will return home on Nov. 10, when the Bulldogs play host to the Jacksonville State Gamecocks on Senior Night. The match is set to begin at 7:00 p.m. at Seibert Hall.
