The Samford athletic department announced Tuesday its internet audio and video broadcast line-up for the last week of February. Thursday evening, the men's and women's basketball teams host the Tennessee State Tigers for senior day. Senior Giovanni Price leads the women's squad against the Lady Tigers at 5 pm. The AmSouth Bank pre-game show will air at 4:45 on MaxVU. Right after that game, seniors Eddie Harper, Phillip Ramelli, Tyson Dorsey, and Sebastian Sachse play their last game at Seibert Hall. The men's team meets Tennessee State at approximately 7:15, with the AmSouth Bank pre-game show preceding the tip at 6:45. The entire broadcast can be heard in Birmingham on 91.1 FM, and can be seen on the Internet on MaxVU.
Friday afternoon, the Samford baseball team takes to the diamond at Joe Lee Griffin Field for the first time this season. The Dogs will host Troy State Friday at 3 pm in the hope opener. The pre-game show will begin at 2:45, and the entire broadcast can be seen on MaxVU. The same applies for Saturday, when the pre-game begins at 12:45, and the first pitch between the Bulldogs and the Trojans is thrown at 1 pm.
