BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The Samford volleyball team (0-4) will travel to Chattanooga, Tenn., on Wednesday, Sept. 8, to compete against the Chattanooga Lady Mocs (0-1) at Maclellan Gym. The match is set to begin at 6 p.m. CST. The Bulldogs have a 4-6 overall record against Chattanooga. The last meeting for the two teams was in 1999, as the Lady Mocs defeated Samford, 3-0, with match scores of 15-3, 15-9 and 15-2. The last time the Bulldogs defeated the Lady Mocs was in 1994, 3-1, with match scores of 15-5, 15-5, 11-15 and 15-10. The Bulldogs are 0-4 for the 2004 season, as they fell to Belmont (0-3), McNeese State (0-3), Georgia Southern (1-3) and No. 3 UCLA (0-3), while the Lady Mocs dropped their season opener with Southern Florida, 0-3.
