JACKSONVILLE, Ala. - The Samford University softball team's Ohio Valley Conference doubleheader against Jacksonville State originally scheduled to be played on Tuesday has been moved to Wednesday at 1 p.m., announced head coach Beanie Ketcham.

The games were postponed due to the potential of heavy rainfall that it is expected to hit the region.

Samford will attempt to extend its regular-season winning streak against OVC opponents to 10-consecutive games on Wednesday as the Bulldogs travel east to Jacksonville, Ala., for an in-state doubleheader versus the Jacksonville State Gamecocks beginning at 1 p.m.
