BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The Samford women's basketball team volunteered at the Light The Night Walk put on by The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Thursday night at the Hoover Metropolitan Stadium.

The Samford players and coaches helped people with their routes in the walk, which raised money for research specifically targeting blood cancer. For more information on Light The Night, please go to www.lightthenight.org.
