As we head into our second year as a coaching staff, we want to continue what we started last year in terms of our Alumni base and support. We had some success in reaching a number of former Samford baseball players, but there are many more still out there.

Our Alumni base is crucial to the things we hope to accomplish in the immediate and long term future. As a result, we hope to get as many of you involved with the program in a variety of ways. We have had a number of changes in a short period of time that we know you would love to hear about. Facility upgrades, Bullpen Club for boosters, recruiting, coaching staff, and administration commitment, as well as a variety of others.

One of the additions we are proudest of is the founding of the Samford Baseball Hall of Fame that began last year. In the 2005 induction class, Gerald Tuck and Wendall McGee became the first ever members and were inducted in an incredible evening that will be a yearly event from now on. This is an area we want our alumni to become directly involved in through their input on future Hall of Fame inductees.
