BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The Samford baseball team will take on the Montevallo Falcons in a three-game series this weekend. The teams will play on Friday and Saturday at Samford's Joe Lee Griffin Field, and then on Sunday at Montevallo's Johnson Field.

Samford enters the series with a record of 3-2 after defeating 19th-ranked Ole Miss, 3-2, on Wednesday. Last season, Montevallo defeated Samford, 5-2, in Birmingham.

Samford is currently led at the plate by Louis Rojas, batting .429 with a team-high six RBI. John Morgan is hitting .350 for the Bulldogs.

Samford's pitching rotation for the weekend is scheduled to be Chandler Tidwell (Jr., RHP) on Friday, Josh Ehmke (Jr., LHP) on Saturday and Stephen Artz (Sr., RHP) on Sunday.

Friday's game is scheduled for 4:00 p.m., and Saturday's is set for 1:00 p.m. The teams will play at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday.
