BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The Samford baseball team will take on the South Alabama Jaguars in a three-game series this weekend in Mobile.

Samford enters the game with a record of 6-3 after a 10-5 loss to UAB Wednesday night. South Alabama is currently 7-5 following a 3-2 loss to UAB on Feb. 26.

Samford is led statistically by Louis Rojas, batting .405 with 10 RBI. Luke Peavy is batting .385, and Michael Marseco is second on the team in RBI with nine.

Samford is scheduled to pitch Stephen Artz (2-1, 9.00 ERA) on Friday, Josh Ehmke (1-1, 2.76 ERA) on Saturday and Eric Lassiter (1-0, 2.45 ERA) on Sunday.

Friday's game is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. The teams will play at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, and 1:00 p.m. on Sunday.
