BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ---- Junior Bulldog Lauren Blankenship has been named OVC Track Athlete of the Week for week two of the 2007 track season. Every week the conference picks a female and male track athlete and field athlete who had outstanding performances during the last week of competition.

Blankenship won the 3000 meters at the Niswonger Invitational with a time of 10:03.44. The mark ranks first on the OVC best list this season.
