BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ---- Five Samford tennis players have been selected to the Ohio Valley Conference Top Ten list of tennis players. Voted on by the league's coaches, two Bulldog men and three Bulldog women made their way onto the list.

Junior Renan Silveira, of Pelotas, Brazil, is ranked at the number two spot, just behind Fadi Zamjaoui of Murray State. In the number seven spot is Bulldogs senior Stuart Misner, of Brookhaven, Miss. One more male from Murray State made the list at No. 8 as well as two from Jacksonville State (fourth and ninth) and one from Eastern Kentucky (third), Eastern Illinois (fifth), UT Martin (sixth) and Morehead State (tenth).

Ranked number two for the women is junior Bulldog Anna Jackson of Alexander City, Ala. Two spots down at No. 4 is junior Katie McMiller of Alpharetta, Ga., and tied for ninth place with Jacksonville State's Erin Higgs is sophomore Whitnie Warren of Nashville, Tenn. Taking the No. 1 spot is Anna Lask of Murray State. The Racers also nabbed the No. 3 spot while UT Martin had two women tie for fifth while Southeast Missouri and Eastern Illinois took the seventh and eighth spots, respectively.
