MOREHEAD, Ky. ---- The Samford men's tennis team continued its conference win streak this weekend after picking up its sixth Ohio Valley Conference win over the Morehead State Eagles. The Bulldogs are now 11-5, 6-0 OVC.

The Samford men defeated the Eagles, 5-2, only giving up one doubles loss and two singles losses. Bulldog duos Silveira/Huffman and Misner/Grant started things off with 8-2 and 8-1 wins, respectively, before Dushock/De Wet dropped an 8-3 match at the No. 3 spot.

Morehead State jumped out with a win in the No. 1 singles spot over Manuel Miletic, but Renan Silveira answered back with a win on the No. 2 court. The Eagles' Adam Sorti captured Morehead State's last match of the day over Sam Huffman in the No. 3 position before Samford took three-straight matches to take the win.

The Bulldogs will be back in action Wednesday, April 4, as they travel to in-state rival Jacksonville State looking for their seventh OVC win.
