BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ---- The Samford University women's golf team wraps up the regular season today at the Lady Eagle Classic hosted by the University of Southern Mississippi. The two-day event will be held at the Canebrake Country Club, Monday and Tuesday.
The Samford women are joined by seven other teams, including host Southern Miss. The Bulldogs will see in-state foes UAB, Troy and South Alabama, as well as Middle Tennessee State, Jackson State and West Florida.
Samford comes off a week of rest after hosting the Samford Women's Intercollegiate at Timberline Golf Course in Calera, Ala. The women came in eighth in that tournament with freshman Katelyn Stanier leading the way at 22nd individually.
