BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The Samford Baseball program will put on its 4th Fall Baseball Showcase on Saturday, Sept. 8, 2007. The players will be put through a talent evaluation showcase as well as placed on teams to play in live game atmosphere for the scouts. In addition to the Samford coaching staff, there will be a number of other Division I coaches, major league baseball scouts and junior college coaches.

During the first two years of the Casey Dunn baseball staff, the Samford Baseball program signed 15 student-athletes that appeared at our fall showcases or camps during the past couple of years. Several others have been signed and identified by other major division I programs and junior colleges on hand as well during that time span.

Registration and check-in will take place starting at 12:00 with the Showcase beginning at 1:00 and running to approximately 7:00. The specific other schools in attendance will be announced at a later date. The cost of the one day showcase is $75.00.
