The Samford baseball program will induct the sixth class into its Hall of Fame with a reception and ceremony prior to the Bulldogs' home game against Minnesota on March 19.
This year's inductees are Johnny Oppert, who played at Samford from 1955-59, and Gary Cooper, who played for the Bulldogs from 1983-85.
A reception will be held from 5-6 p.m. in the Pete Hanna Center for all who would like to attend. The Hall of Fame induction will take place prior to the first pitch of the game on Joe Lee Griffin Field.
